David is an associate attorney at Baum Law Office, where he represents clients in criminal/juvenile defense, civil litigation, domestic relations, and juvenile matters, including work as a Guardian ad Litem. His practice encompasses the full range of criminal proceedings - from misdemeanor charges through felony defense - as well as plaintiff-side personal injury claims and family law matters including divorce, dissolution, custody, and related domestic disputes. David brings a detail-oriented, client-centered approach to every matter, whether defending the accused, pursuing justice for harmed plaintiffs, or guiding families through difficult transitions.
David earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Capital University Law School in May 2025. Before joining Baum Law Office, he built a well-rounded legal foundation across several firms. He gained valuable experience clerking at multiple criminal defense firms, as well as well as multiple firms where he handled a broad range of civil matters. David is admitted to practice law in the State of Ohio, having passed the February 2026 Ohio Bar Examination.
David grew up in Teaneck, New Jersey, and moved to Columbus, Ohio, in 2022. Outside of the office, David enjoys spending time with his wife, Tamar, and son, Gabriel. A proud and passionate New York sports fan, he can usually be found cheering on his teams on any given weekend. David is also a dedicated volunteer in his community, as a member of the Beth Jacob Synagogue Board of Trustees.
