Michelle Lutz was born and raised in Lancaster, Ohio and is a graduate of Amanda Clearcreek High School. Following graduation from High School, Michelle worked in Collections for a number of years until 2000, at which point she changed careers and began her work in Fairfield County with the Fairfield County Child Support Enforcement Agency. After more than a decade working with CSEA, she was hired as a Legal Secretary/Administrative Assistant for the Fairfield County Prosecutor's Office, where she stayed until she joined Baum Law Office. Michelle obtained her paralegal certificate in the Spring of 2012 and then graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration in November 2015, both from Colorado Technical University.

In January 2017 Michelle joined Baum Law Office as a Paralegal and currently assists Attorney Baum with preparing documents, legal research, maintaining calendars, scheduling client meetings, and answering phone calls. Michelle's work with CSEA and the prosecutor's office, as well as the relationships she cultivated with law enforcement and the various agencies in and around the county, has been invaluable in assisting Attorney Baum with his work in both his domestic and criminal cases.

Michelle currently volunteers as the Intake Coordinator for the Fairfield County Legal Clinic. In addition, Michelle volunteers as a preschool teacher at church, she is a certified car seat technician for Fairfield County, and in the fall works a security detail for Ohio State Football. Michelle resides in Lancaster with her husband Jeff Lutz and enjoys spending time with her family.
